To avail the benefits of PM Kusum Yojana, one has to apply online. A website has also been released for this by the Central Government. But eligible person can apply.
But, fraudsters have now set their sights on it. Farmers are being cheated in the name of PM Kusum Yojana. In view of this, information about fraudulent websites has been given by the Central Government.
This information has been given on the official website of PM KUSUM of the Central Government that many fake websites and mobile applications are asking applicants for online application forms for solar pumps in the name of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha and Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM Yojana). Along with filling, they are asked to pay the registration fee and pump price online.
It has been told by the government that fake websites are registered in domain names *.org, *.in, *.com like www.kusumyojanaonline.in.net, www.pmkisankusumyojana.co.in, www.onlinekusumyojana.org.in, There are www.pmkisankusumyojana.com and many other similar websites.
The Central Government has told the farmers that for information or complaints about the scheme, visit the official website of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) www.mnre.gov.in or dial the toll free number 1800-180-3333.
