islamabad (Best Hindu News): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan canceled the membership of all the leaders and office bearers who left the party and joined other parties in the last few days.

On May 9, angry party supporters ransacked government and military establishments in Pakistan over the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan. After this many leaders had separated from PTI. These include General Secretary Asad Umar, Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry, former Federal Minister Shireen Mazari, Amer Mehmood Kayani and former advisor to the Prime Minister Malik Amin Aslam.

Khan said membership of all defector leaders who were part of the party’s core committee has been terminated. They will no longer be a part of PTI’s WhatsApp group and social media accounts will be updated after removing those defectors.

The PTI president issued a statement on Thursday saying that the leaders and workers of his party are facing the terror of the government with full force. He issued this statement on the occasion of the completion of one year of the clash between PTI workers and the police during the long march towards Islamabad.

He said that the incident of May 25, 2022 started the fascist tradition in the country. Mr. Khan recalled that when he was in power, the then opposition parties had organized three long marches and his government had permitted them without any hindrance. He recalled the action taken on the leadership of his party before the march and said that we are facing the crime of the government with full force.

Khan said the events of last year were only a “beginning” and today a federal party in the country is facing the tyranny of state power through no fault of its own. He said that over 10,000 PTI workers and supporters, including senior leaders, are in jail and some of them are facing custodial torture. He reiterated that the PTI leadership has condemned the May 09 violence.
