Adani scams Rs 10,000 crore in power generation in Maharashtra-Rajasthan, alleges AAP

New Delhi : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday accused Adani Enterprises Limited of running a Rs 10,000 crore scam in power generation and distribution in Rajasthan and Maharashtra and demanded a probe by central agencies into the matter. Talking to the media, Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Sanjay Singh claimed that Adani Enterprises Limited took money from the Maharashtra government for the production and operation of electricity and pocketed the profits.
Free electricity for three years in Delhi due to scam
Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Sanjay Singh claimed that today I am exposing another scam. With the money looted in this scam, Delhi can be given free electricity for three years. Lack of resources is not the reason for expensive electricity in Rajasthan and Maharashtra. The reason is Adani’s blatant corruption. He said that before 2014, Adani’s companies had entered the power sector in Rajasthan and Maharashtra and they not only took the expenses of operation including power generation etc. from the government, but also pocketed the profit made from the undertaking.
Fake use of Vinod Adani
The AAP leader said that the biggest thing is that Adani used the fake company of his brother Vinod Adani to get cheap machines from China at high prices. He said that money was taken from the Maharashtra government for these machines. He said that the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence had raised the issue, but no action was taken. The reason for this is that the Modi government came to power at the center.
Adani bought expensive machines to make electricity
He said that this is a scam of 10 thousand crores. Adani bought machines from Mauritius and Dubai for electricity generation from his brother’s fake companies at a high cost and took money from the Maharashtra government for their purchase. He said that the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) had sent notices to six companies of Adani for investigation, but the Modi government was formed and the DRI stopped its investigation. The CBI did not register an FIR nor did it take any action. He said that we hope that CBI, ED, DRI and SEBI will raid Adani and investigate corruption.
