Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol and Ranbir Kapoor’s films will clash at the box office on August 11

Mumbai This 11th August, three different films in three different genres by three different big stars will release together. Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’, Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’ will clash at the box office.

Directed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar 2’ is a sequel to the 2001 hit film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. The film revolves around patriotism and love for family and is slated to release on August 11.

A sequel to the 2012 comedy-drama ‘OMG: Oh My God’ starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, ‘OMG 2’ is directed by Amit Rai and stars Akshay, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, Arun Govil and Aamir Naik in lead roles. The film revolves around the education system in the country and is slated to release on August 11.

Director Sandeep Vanga Reddy is making a comeback with ‘Animal’. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Parineeti Chopra in the star cast. The film is a noir gangster film, which also revolves around a family succession drama. Despite the rumors doing the rounds about delaying the film’s release, it is all set to hit the screens on August 11.

Patriotic drama, comic cop, gangster thriller, all three are very much liked by the audience, in such a situation which film the fans will watch, this question is revolving in the minds of the directors.

‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ earlier clashed with Aamir Khan’s ‘Lagaan’, but both the films did incredibly well at the box office despite being period dramas.
