Actor Shahid Kapoor will play the lead role in an upcoming action thriller film backed by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur. Filmmaker Roshan Andrews, known for Malayalam films like “Salute” and “Kayamkulam Kochunni”, will direct the film, which will go on floors in the second half of 2023 and release in 2024, the makers said in a statement. The untitled film is about a brilliant but rebellious police officer investigating a high-profile case. As he digs deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, which leads him down an exciting and dangerous path. Kapoor said that he is excited to work in this film full of action, thrill, drama and suspense.
