AR Rahman joins the team of Prateek Gandhis historical series Gandhi

Mumbai . The team of the upcoming web series ‘Gandhi’ being made under the direction of filmmaker Hansal Mehta includes Oscar and Grammy winning musician AR. Rahman has joined.

The makers of the show celebrated A.R. on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Rahman’s participation in the series was announced.

Globally acclaimed Rahman is all set to showcase his talent in this saga of Indian independence, taking the series to new artistic heights.

Talking about the show, AR Rahman said, the series ‘Gandhi’ is a story that will continue to inspire generations. His experiments with truth, life and many other things show the evolution of his character. I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to compose the music for this story under the direction of Hansal Mehta in collaboration with Applause Entertainment.”

Prateek Gandhi will be seen in the lead role in this series. It is based on the writings of Ramachandra Guha. Along with this, it will be a powerful blend of history, emotion and music which has never been seen on screen before.
