New Delhi: The price of aviation fuel or ATF fell to its lowest level this year on Tuesday after being cut by 6.3 per cent. The price of commercial LPG (19 kg) used in hotels and restaurants has been increased by Rs 48.5 per cylinder. Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices in the national capital fell by Rs 5,883 per kilolitre, or 6.29 per cent, to Rs 87,597.22 per kilolitre, according to state-run fuel retailers. This is the lowest price of aircraft fuel this year. This second consecutive reduction will help in reducing the burden on aviation companies, whose operating cost of fuel accounts for about 40 percent.

The price of ATF in Mumbai was reduced from Rs 87,432.78 per kiloliter to Rs 81,866.13 per kiloliter on Tuesday. Along with this, oil companies have increased the price of commercial LPG by Rs 48.5 to Rs 1,740 per 19 kg cylinder. Prices were increased monthly for the third consecutive time. Earlier, the prices were increased by Rs 6.5 per cylinder on August 1 and by Rs 39 per cylinder on September 1. ,
