TV actress Ankita Lokhande is currently seen in Bigg Boss 17. She has revealed why she could not attend the funeral of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Talking about the untimely death of Sushant, who died by suicide in 2020, the actress said “I didn’t even go to his funeral. I couldn’t go. I thought I couldn’t see this. I can’t even see this.
During the latest episode when her co-contestant Munawar Faruqui shared a shayari on heartbreak, Ankita said she was moved, but requested him to stop as it “affects badly”. The actress then sang the song ‘Kaun Tujhe’ from SSR-starrer ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ in the episode.
Ankita was also seen saying to Munavvar, “He was a very nice person. Whenever I say such things, it feels very strange. I mean, it’s okay now, it’s back to normal. Vicky was also Sushant’s friend, so you know, he is no more in this world, and that’s the worst feeling.”
Ankita and Sushant started dating on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and called it quits after seven years. This was not the first time that Ankita was seen talking about Sushant in Bigg Boss. Earlier he had revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput had disappeared from his life overnight. He claimed that after gaining fame in Bollywood, people around him started molesting him. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, 2020. The actor was found hanging at his residence in Mumbai.
