The incident occurred around 4:45 am when he was checking his weapon before going out. Initial reports suggest that the bullet hit him in the knee, following which he was immediately taken to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. Till now, Govinda’s family and team have not issued any official statement regarding his condition.
