Initially, as a student, she had gone to Ravindran to study tuition, but later both of them got married and together they took the company to new heights. Born in Bangalore, Divya’s father is a nephrologist at Apollo Hospitals and her mother worked as a program executive in Doordarshan. Divya, the only child of her parents, was initially taught science by her father. He did his BTech in Biotechnology from RV College of Engineering followed by Frank Anthony School. Thereafter, while preparing for the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) for the purpose of studying abroad, she met her future husband, Byju Ravindran. Seeing his curiosity towards studies, Ravindran encouraged him to join the teaching profession.
