Cash award to Jharkhand players even after participating in world championship, sports directorate asked for application
Ranchi. Now the players of Jharkhand will also be given cash award for participation in World Championship or World Cup. An advertisement has been issued by the Sports Directorate of Jharkhand regarding giving cash awards to the players. Players can apply for the cash award till April 15 according to their event and achievement. Players can submit their application to the District Sports Officer office of the concerned district. This time, cash prizes are also being given for participation in some competitions. The rules of the earlier cash award have been changed, after which the cash award received by the players has also increased.
Cash award will also be given for participation in the world championship
Now the players of Jharkhand will also be given cash award for participation in World Championship or World Cup. Earlier there was no cash award for participation in this event, which is held at an interval of one to two years, but now the players will get Rs 1.50 lakh. It will be given at both senior and junior level.
Cash prizes for 24 competitions
Players will be given cash prizes for a total of 24 competitions. There will be no cash award for only one event. No cash award of any kind will be given to the players for winning any medal in an international tournament in which at least eight countries participate. A cash award of Rs 50,000 will be given to differently-abled players for their participation in Special Olympics at the international level.
