Jyoti Brar, Vice President of Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) i.e. CPGB (ML), recently said in an exclusive interview to the Chinese news agency Xinhua that China is promoting a people-centred modernization process. Chinese style modernization reflects the balance between man and nature while being sustainable.

He said that the world urgently needed people-centred modernisation. The modernization of the Chinese style is balanced and sustainable. Man and nature are not separated in this process. Man and nature are inseparable, this ancient human wisdom has been forgotten in the process of human progress. But today, the modernization of the Chinese style shows us that man has become aware again of the importance of the relationship between man and nature.

Brar said China has set an example for the world by placing people’s needs and the environment at the center of social and economic governance. In his view, the only way to benefit from the progress humanity has made so far is through common effort, sharing the gains brought about by technology and human labor. We can learn from every culture and every civilization. In the process of modernization and development, we need to learn from each other.
