Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong met members of a group of Indian scholars who returned from China on September 30 and heard about their experiences during their visit to China. During the meeting, members of the group of Indian scholars reviewed the main activities of their visit to China and said that the visit was very successful.
The hospitality of the Chinese people and the achievements of China’s modernization and development left a deep impression on him. Experts and scholars from the two countries had an in-depth exchange of views on China-India relations and multilateral cooperation, further enhancing mutual understanding between the two sides. He hopes that exchanges and cooperation between think tank scholars from the two countries will be further strengthened.
Introducing the recent improvement and development momentum of China-India relations, Ambassador Xiu Feihong stressed that the healthy and stable development of bilateral relations will benefit the people of the two countries and promote regional and global development and prosperity. He expressed hope that Indian experts and scholars will visit China more often, strengthen exchanges with Chinese scholars, and continue to promote the healthy and stable development of China-India relations.
Let us tell you that from 18 to 26 September, scholars from many Indian think tanks and universities including Vivekananda International Fund, Institute for Defense Analysis and Research and Jawaharlal Nehru University visited China’s capital Beijing and south-western province Yunnan on invitation.
