Chinese and Russian Presidents exchange congratulatory messages on 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations – Dainik Savera Times
On October 2, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin exchanged congratulatory messages marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. The two leaders highlighted the importance of their countries’ growing partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen relations.
President Xi stressed that China and Russia, as each other’s largest neighbors and major world powers, have developed a strong relationship over the past 75 years. He said that inspired by the core interests of the two countries and their people, the two countries have continuously deepened their political trust and achieved important cooperation.
Xi credited joint strategic efforts between himself and President Putin for promoting this progress and underlined the contributions of China and Russia in promoting a more multipolar world and pursuing economic globalization. President Putin echoed these sentiments, recalling that Russia was the first country to officially recognize the People’s Republic of China and established close cooperation. He highlighted that the current state of Russia-China relations is at an all-time high, with active cooperation in various fields, including politics, economy, trade, and science and technology.
Putin also stressed the importance of their joint efforts in international and regional affairs, to work together to promote a just, multipolar global structure. He expressed confidence that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and China will continue to strengthen, contributing to peace and stability in Eurasia and around the world.
