Couldnt stop myself from saying yes after listening to the story of School of Lies: Nimrat Kaur

Mumbai | Actress Nimrat Kaur, who is making headlines for the OTT series ‘School of Lies’, opened up about saying yes to the streaming series. The show came to her when she was looking for something completely different, but impressed with the story, Nimrat couldn’t help but say yes.

Talking about the show, Nimrat said, “While I was looking for a different project, I came across the offer of ‘School of Lies’ which pulled me towards it. This is a very important story that needs to be told, and I am very happy to be a part of it. I have always been a huge fan of Avinash Arun’s work, wanted to work with him since the days of his much anticipated Marathi film ‘Qila’.

The show, which also stars Amir Basheer, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, Sonali Kulkarni and Jitendra Joshi, is inspired by true events and produced by Ishani Banerjee and Avinash Arun Dhware, directed by Avinash Arun Dhware.

School of Lies, produced by BBC Studios, will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from June 2.
