san franciscoDiscord has announced that it is releasing ‘Themes’ to provide more ways for its Nitro subscribers to bring their own vibe to the chat platform on desktop. “With the rest of the perks provided by your Discord Nitro subscription, you’ll be able to bring some fresh color to your Discord thoughts,” the company said in a blogpost on Thursday.

“Choose from theme colors such as Chroma Glow, Citrus Sherbert, Midnight Blurple, and Retro Raincloud to name a few.” To try out the themes, Nitro members can navigate to ‘User Settings’ and select ‘Appearance’ can do. Then, users will see a new color section under the existing light and dark theme. Now, just choose a theme and it will appear instantly in the application.

The company said, “If you want to see how a specific theme will look, use the Preview Theme button. You can even preview a topic whether you are currently subscribed to Nitro!” Last week, the chat platform announced that it was updating its ‘Clyde’ bot using OpenAI technology. The new Clyde will answer questions and have long conversations with users and their friends.
