Pudhari Online Desk: Former US President Donald Trump has written his first post on Facebook on Friday after two years of ban, saying ‘I have returned’. All the social media accounts of Donald Trump would have been closed two years ago. Facebook-Instagram, Twitter would have been included in that. Musk bought Twitter a few months ago, then Donald Trump’s account was restarted. In the month of February, Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts would have been restored again. On Friday (the 17th) YouTube also unblocked Trump’s channel.

After the capital riots on January 6, 2021, Donald Trump’s account would have been suspended on Facebook and Instagram. According to an NBC News report, the shutdown was initially announced as an indefinite shutdown covering the last two weeks of his presidency. The freeze on Trump’s account would later be formally extended for two years.

Then in February 2023, Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts would have been restored. Andy Stone, director of policy communications at Meta, confirmed the news. Nick Clegg, president of Facebook’s global development, sought the suspension in January but was expected to restore it after receiving a circular.

After two years of detention, Donald Trump has posted a 12-second video with the words “I am here again”. It is not just a new post but it seems to be his victory speech after winning the 2016 elections and in that video he seems to have tried to organize his campaign for the 2024 elections. Following the 2016 video, Trump would make his famous declaration “Make America Great Again” or MAGA Lovely, popular during his last successful presidential campaign.

Sharing the post on Instagram, Donald Trump captioned, “Me Udya Ellipsevar 1 Trump’s last post on Facebook spoke at the Save America rally, urging people to leave the capitol before the suspension. Trump said in the post on Facebook. “I am asking everyone in the US Capitol to keep calm. No violence! Remember, we are on the side of law and order. Respect the law and our great men and women. Thank you!”

Meanwhile, YouTube restored Trump’s account on Friday. The official source of YouTube gave this information from Twitter. YouTube’s CEO – said, “From today, Donald J. Trump Channel is no longer restricted and can upload new content. We carefully weigh the risks of continuing real-world violence, while balancing the opportunity to unite voters equally. In the run-up to the election, we are giving equal opportunity to the major national candidates to unite.”
