S.S. Rajamouli on Tuesday announced that he will make a film on ‘Father of Indian Cinema’ Dadasaheb Phalke, which will be titled “Made in India”. The ‘RRR’ director said that he became emotional when he heard the story.
Hyderabad. SS Rajamouli…is the man who introduced the world to the power of Telugu cinema. Last year he got worldwide recognition from the film RRR. But now a big announcement has come from Jakkanna. Rajamouli is presenting a film named Made in India. There is no need to say anything special about director Dhiruda Rajamouli. He has a good reputation in the countries of the world. Rajamouli has made the world aware of the power of Telugu cinema. He started his career as a serial director named Shantinivasam and became one of the top directors in the world. There are more than heroes and heroines in his films…only Rajamouli’s film means a collection of hundreds of crores.

Making a film on someone’s life is a difficult task in itself, but making a film on the father of Indian cinema is even more difficult. Our friends are ready for this. The film will be directed by Nitin Kakkar. This will be the debut film of Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya as a producer. He worked as a line producer in ‘RRR’. Dadasaheb Phalke, known as the ‘Father of Indian Cinema’, made India’s first feature film in the year 1913 under the name Raja Harishchandra. Born in Trimbak, present-day Maharashtra, Dadasaheb Phalke’s real name was Dhundiraj Govind Phalke.
When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else.
Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it..:)
