Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani: Rocky and Rani’s love story is one of the most anticipated films of this year, in which Karan Johar has once again taken the director’s chair after 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film is set to release in theaters on 28 July. Earlier, the romantic comedy was supposed to hit the big screens on 28 April. Now, the makers have finally released the first look of the film.

Karan Johar shared the first look poster of Rocky and Rani’s love story starring Ranveer Singh on Instagram. In the first poster, the actor is shirtless, while in the second poster, Ranveer is seen in a funky avatar. In another post, the makers have also shared the first look of Alia Bhatt. The actress is looking very cute in the posters. He is wearing Nath. The caption accompanying the post read, “Dilon ko dhadakne aa rahi hai woh – the ‘Queen’ of this ‘love story’! #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, Karan Johar’s 25th anniversary film. In February, Karan Johar had announced the new release date of the film on Instagram. He wrote, “They say ‘patience pays off’, so to add to the sweetness of this incredible special story – we bring you lots of love! Rocky and Rani’s families are getting ready, and watch now This unique story of love!#Rocky and Rani’s love story in cinemas on 28th July, 2023.”

About Rocky and Rani’s love story
A family drama, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, while veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi play key roles. This is the first time Karan will direct Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. Dharmendra will play a romantic role in the film and will be seen wooing both Jaya and Shabana’s characters. As per reports, Shabana will play the role of Alia’s on-screen grandmother while Jaya will be Ranveer’s on-screen grandmother. Jaya will also play the role of a sweet maker or confectioner in the film. The film has been shot at Mumbai, Delhi and other locations. The story will be full of laughter and drama.
