Chandigarh. The first Annual General Meeting of the Pythian Council of India was held at a hotel in New Delhi. The agenda of the meeting was presented by Bijender Goyal, Founder of Modern Pythian Games. Two decisions were very important in the meeting. The Pythian National Games will be organized in Puducherry in October, 2023. While the Global Peace Award-2024 will be given in January. President Pythian Council of India BH Anil Kumar, Vice President International Pythian Council Oshim Khetrapal, Secretary General Rajesh Jogpal (IAS) along with Syros Vassalius from Greece were also present in the meeting.

The agenda discussed in the meeting included setting up a state body, setting a time limit for it, selecting sports and art at the state level, creating data on players and artists, organizing events, deciding the way for resources, state affiliation fees, Membership fees etc. for state and national level were included.
Founder of Modern Pythian Games, Bijender Goyal said that everyone has agreed on the first National Games. The first Pythian National Games will be held in Puducherry this year. It is expected that all the states will participate. Puducherry government has given its approval for this. They will support us and the Games at every level.
Vice President International Pythian Council Oshim Khetrapal said that Global Peace Awards will also be given for maintaining peace. There is a plan to organize this award in January. Apart from this, many events will be organized in which Shubha Persona will be held in Kolkata in November-2023. While the Python Polo League will be played in Mumbai within December. We are going to work for sports and players at every level. State level Festival of Art Culture will be included in different states of the country.
Secretary General Rajesh Jogpal (IAS) said that instead of taking money from the government, we will work on a self-sustainable model to take the Games forward. We will use the experience of our partner Oshima Resident Sports in this. We will take the Games to where they should be. We have come together to revive the traditional sports of every state and every country. The Games have started with officials representing 92 countries.
