According to a bulletin issued by Nepal Police, the suspects fled after snatching a 23-gram gold chain from the woman’s neck in Kuleshwar area. These arrests took place from various places in Kathmandu soon after the incident.

Four people, including two Indian nationals, were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly snatching a gold chain from a woman on the outskirts of Kathmandu in Nepal. The police gave this information on Tuesday.

According to a bulletin issued by Nepal Police, the suspects fled after snatching a 23-gram gold chain from the woman’s neck in Kuleshwar area. These arrests took place from various places in Kathmandu soon after the incident.

The suspects have been identified as Suraj Gurung (44) from Kathmandu, Anwar Hussain Ansari (48) from Parsa district, Shakti Bhowmik (47) from West Bengal and Sachin (30) from Maharashtra.

Police said that Sachin and Suraj, who were riding a motorcycle, had snatched the gold chain while Anwar and Shakti were involved in buying and selling jewellery.
