Google has started public testing of its generative artificial intelligence (AI) features in Gmail and Docs. The current US trial program is open to consumer, enterprise, and education users over the age of 18. In addition, the tech giant has invited a “small group” to participate in the event. For this users have to sign up and opt-in. Examiners can leave the program at any time due to inconvenience.

All these features will be available from AI

Let us tell you that the Generative AI feature in Gmail allows users to draft different types of documents from birthday event invitations to job cover letters. Additionally, Google can expand or shorten the writing, including turning it into bullet points. In Google Docs, AI will make text more detailed or even rewrite it along the way to help users draft blog posts or song lyrics.

It is worth mentioning that the participants of the test program can send feedback through Gmail and Docs. This will help Google better work on its plan to expand the availability of generative AI features over time.
