Gulf region’s first Chinese cultural center started in Kuwait – Dainik Savera Times


The trial operation launch ceremony of the Chinese Cultural Center in Kuwait was held in Hawali province of Kuwait on September 17. It is the first Chinese cultural center in the Bay Area.
More than 100 people, including Moussaid Zamiel, Assistant Secretary-General of Kuwait’s National Committee for Cultural Arts and Literature, Chang Qianwei, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait, Xia Qianfang, Director of Kuwait Chinese Cultural Center, Kuwaiti officials, members of the royal family, friendly persons and representatives of Chinese companies. Participated in the function.
While delivering a speech at the event, Zamiel said Kuwait has always attached great importance to cultural development. He hopes that this place will become a cultural center not only for China but also for Kuwait.
At the same time, Chinese Ambassador Chang Qianwei said in his speech that the first Chinese cultural center in the Gulf region has started trial operations, which reflects the special friendly relations between China and Kuwait. The center will lead the development of cultural exchanges between China and the Gulf countries in the new era, and further strengthen the cultural foundation of the China-Arab community with a shared destiny.
