New Delhi. With the opening of the stock markets on Monday, all eyes are on the shares of Adani group companies. American short-selling unit Hindenburg Research accused the Adani Group of fraud, following which the shares of the group’s companies fell sharply in the last few days. Adani Group has issued a 413-page ‘clarification’ in response to Hindenburg Research’s allegations. Commenting on Adani Group’s response to its report released on Sunday, Hindenburg Research on Monday said it believes India is a vibrant democracy and emerging superpower.
Adani Group is blocking India’s future with ‘systematic loot’. Hindenburg has rejected the Adani Group’s allegation that its report was an attack on India. Hindenburg said that the betrayal could not be covered up by ‘nationalism’ or ‘overreaction’.
