According to the information received from EPFO, under this, any member can withdraw money from his account for the marriage of himself or a member of his family. The amount to be withdrawn cannot exceed 50% of the total contribution including interest. However, some conditions have also been fixed for this. The member must have completed seven years as a member of EPFO.

conditions for withdrawing money for marriage

To get an advance for marriage from EPFO account, the member must have completed 7 years of membership in the PF fund.

The amount of his contribution including interest in the member’s PF account should be Rs 1,000 or more.
