Imran Khan’s sister Alima Khan said this. Khan (71), chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, is currently lodged in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail in judicial custody in the SIFER (secret diplomatic cable) case. The alleged cipher contained details of a meeting last year between US State Department officials, including Donald Lu, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, and Pakistani Ambassador Asad Majeed Khan.
Khan, who was the Prime Minister of Pakistan from August 2018 to April 2022, is accused of misusing the contents of the cipher to create a story that his government had to step down from power due to a conspiracy hatched by America. Washington has denied this allegation several times. Khan’s sister made the remarks at a press conference after meeting him in Adiala jail, Geo News reported on Friday. In this news, Alima was quoted as saying, PTI Chairman said that if he did not get justice from Pakistani courts, he would file a case against Donald Lu in US courts.
