Maryam Nawaz mocked Imran Khan’s party over the mass departure of PTI leaders, saying there were questions about those leaving the party. The exodus of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders began when security forces launched a crackdown against the party following attacks on civilian and military institutions, including the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi and the Lahore Corps Commander’s House (Jinnah House). More than 70 lawyers and leaders of the party have severed ties with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after the May 9 pogrom.
