The second match of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh was played in Kanpur. Tuesday i.e. 1st October was the last day of this test. The second and third days were completely washed out by rain. At the same time, only 35 overs could be played on the first day. Bangladesh had scored 233 runs in its first innings. At the same time, India declared its first innings after scoring 285 runs for nine wickets. Team India had a lead of 52 runs. Bangladesh’s second innings was limited to 146 runs and thus India got the target of 95 runs. India achieved this target by losing three wickets.

Rohit Sharma was out after scoring eight runs, Shubman Gill after scoring six runs and Yashasvi Jaiswal after scoring 51 runs. There was a partnership of 58 runs for the third wicket between Virat and Yashasvi. For Bangladesh, Mehdi Hasan Miraj took two wickets, while Taijul Islam got one wicket. Yashasvi hit eight fours and one six in his innings.
After losing the toss and batting first, Bangladesh scored 233 runs in its first innings. In reply, India batted aggressively and declared its first innings at 285 runs for nine wickets. India then had a lead of 52 runs. In the second innings, Bangladesh team scored 146 runs and had given a target of 95 runs to India. In Tests, 90 overs are officially bowled in a day. Bangladesh played 74.2 overs in its first innings, India played 34.4 overs in its first innings, Bangladesh played 47 overs in its second innings and India played 17.2 overs in its second innings. If we combine all these, then approximately 174 overs are made and this is less than the total overs of two days (180).
India showed a courageous game in this test. Only 35 overs could be played on the first day. Rain disrupted the match and then the play on the second and third days was washed out due to rain. The game started on the fourth day and after defeating Bangladesh, India batted brilliantly and made the record of scoring the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 runs by any team in the Test. After this, Bangladesh chased the easy target by defeating them early in the second innings.
