Ranchi: The series of three T20 matches between India and New Zealand is being played in Ranchi. In the match, Team India captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. India’s fast bowling remained ineffective

In the first T20 match, Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first, but this decision did not turn out as per his expectation. In fact, the fast bowlers looted a lot of runs for the team. Arshdeep in particular proved to be very expensive as he gave away 51 runs in four overs while getting just one wicket. Arshdeep spent 27 runs in the last over of the innings.

Apart from this, Captain Hardik Pandya was also very expensive. Hardik bowled three overs in the match in which he conceded 33 runs without taking any wicket. On the other hand, speedster Umran Malik got 16 runs in his first over after which the captain did not make him bowl further.

At the same time, the most successful bowling for the team was in the name of Washington Sundar. Sundar spent only 22 runs in four overs in which he got two wickets in his account. Apart from this, Kuldeep Yadav also took one wicket for just 20 runs in four overs. Shivam Mavi bowled two overs for the team, in which he got one wicket for 19 in his account.
