New Delhi: India is growing rapidly in the mobile technology sector and by manufacturing secure and better quality mobile devices, the country will lead the world in this field in the future. Experts said this on Tuesday. Speaking at the 8th edition of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) and Indian Mobile Congress organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in the national capital, Telecom Equipment and Services Export Promotion Council Director General Arun Gupta said that innovations are taking place in the field of telecom equipment in the country. Due to which secure and modern telecommunication equipment is being developed in the country itself. With this, India will emerge as a leader in the world in the coming times.

He said that the world’s fastest 5G network has been laid in India. Continuous work is being done on 6G technology and equipment for it is being developed in the country itself. Arshad Fakhri, Chairman of Proj Technologies, said, ‘India has become the hub of technology for the world. Due to global conditions, western countries are focusing on products made outside China. In such a situation, India is the only big manufacturing base which can meet the demands of western countries. India has made a lot of progress in this field in the last few years. Our country entered this sector a little late, but we have built the fastest 5G network in the world and are now working on 6G. He said that the government is emphasizing on making India a leader in 6G technology. India will benefit from the advent of 6G globally due to its regional lead in mobile devices.
