Vada Pav is a name in street food which more or less every Indian knows. This street food was once the pride of Mumbai, today it is the most liked and eaten food in the name of street food in every street of every city of India. Garlic Chutney – as per requirement

Boiled potatoes – 5-6

Chopped green chilli – 2 tsp

Ginger grated – 2 tsp

Curry leaves – 1 tablespoon

Mustard – 1 tsp

Turmeric – 1/2 tsp

Roasted coriander – 1 tsp

Green coriander leaves chopped – 2 tbsp

Salt – as per taste

Baking Soda – 1 tsp

Oil – for frying

First of all, boil the potatoes, peel them, cut them in a vessel and mash them well. Put 2 spoons of oil in a pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and then add coriander, grated ginger, chopped green chillies and curry leaves and fry for some time. After this, add turmeric and mashed potatoes in the pan and mix with the help of a spoon. After frying the mixture for some time, add salt and finely chopped coriander to it. Now mix and cook for 1-2 minutes, then turn off the gas and keep the mixture aside to cool. Take a deep bottomed vessel and add gram flour into it. Add turmeric and a pinch of salt to it and prepare a solution of medium thickness by adding water little by little. Add soda to the solution and mix it well. Put oil in a pan and heat it. While the oil is heating, take the potato stuffing and prepare small balls from it. Dip each ball in the gram flour batter and then put it in the pan to fry. When the vadas become golden brown, take them out from the pan. Prepare all the vadas in the same manner. Take a loaf and apply garlic chutney on it and place a hot vada. It can be served with fried green chillies.
