The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation has increased the price of Amul milk by Rs 2 per liter on April 1.

Let us inform that for the first time after the Gujarat assembly elections held in December 2022, the price of milk has been increased. However, it is a relief that Amul has made this increase only in the state of Gujarat. This hike has not been implemented across the country. However, the reason behind this increase has been given that the prices of milk have been increased due to the increase in the cost of fodder and transportation. After increasing the price of Amul milk by Rs 2, now the price of Amul buffalo milk has gone up to Rs 68 per liter and Amul Gold has gone up to Rs 64.

According to the information, the new prices have come into effect from Saturday, April 1. Let us tell you that this is the second time in the last six months that the Amul company has increased the prices of milk. Due to this increase, now the general public’s budget can get spoiled. Earlier, Amul had increased the prices of milk across the country. However, this time the increase has happened only in Gujarat. After the increase in prices by Amul, there is a possibility that other companies like Mother Dairy etc. may also increase the prices of milk.

The price of half a liter milk of Amul Gold has gone up to Rs 32. Till now its price was Rs.31. Whereas, in half a litre, the new price of Amul Shakti milk has been Rs 29, Amul Cow Milk Rs 27, Amul Fresh Rs 26, Amul Slim and Trim milk Rs 25.
