The ICC said in a statement that Putin was allegedly responsible for war crimes related to the illegal deportation of children and illegal transportation of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation. In addition, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Office of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in connection with similar allegations.
