iOS users can now see the bookmark count on Tweets

San Francisco: Micro-blogging platform Twitter on Friday announced that iOS users will now be able to see the bookmark count on Tweets. We love bookmarks to save tweets to revisit later, the company tweeted from its Twitter support account. Starting today on iOS, you’ll now see how many times a Tweet has been bookmarked on the Tweet detail. Don’t worry, though—your bookmarks are still private. We will never show which accounts have added Tweets to their bookmarks. On the help page for the new feature, the company mentioned that it plans to expand on the feature.

Everyone on the platform can see the bookmark count on Tweets, whether they are authors or readers. In January this year, Twitter CEO Elon Musk promised a feature that would allow users to easily bookmark tweets and later the platform started releasing it on iOS. The new feature displays the bookmarks option under the expanded Tweet view, making it easier for users to add posts to their bookmarks. Meanwhile, last month the micro-blogging platform removed captions from its social audio room space on iOS.
