IPL 2024: Will the match date change in KKR-Rajasthan?

Kolkata, Circle Institute: Currently, the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) is going on in India and in the meantime, Lok Sabha elections are taking place. India will be playing in the second phase of IPL and the schedule of the second phase has not been announced yet, but due to Ram Navami, a decision can be taken to change the match between KKR and Rajasthan.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may change the schedule of the match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals scheduled to be held on April 17 at Rosy Eden Gardens. In this context, both the franchisee, the state organization and the broadcaster are indicated.

Due to Ram Navami, this festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm by people all over the country. Therefore, the administration is confused about providing adequate security on this day. Either the Lok Sabha elections are starting in the country from a month ago or keeping all the things in mind the BCCI has decided to push the issue forward.

According to media reports, BCCI and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) are in constant touch with Kolkata Police. Or no final decision has yet been taken on the matter; But the BCCI is said to have given no indication to either the franchises or the broadcasters or both about possible changes. (IPL 2024)

BCCI’s 17th edition of IPL’s schedule has been canceled in both phases. Initially, the schedule of 21 general elections or competitions was announced and after the date of Lok Sabha elections was announced, the schedule of remaining 53 general events was announced. While preparing the schedule, BCCI has taken full care that no problem may arise under any circumstances in the home away format.

In the wake of Lok Sabha elections, it was believed that IPL could be held in UAE; But BCCI is in every way a fool. Only, such a situation has arisen. In which the match between KKR and Rajasthan will have to be rescheduled. A senior IPL official said that discussions are underway with the police administration and a decision will be taken soon.

The ongoing IPL clash between KKR and Rajasthan has started well. Both the teams have played both fronts so far and have won both the fronts. Rajasthan’s third match today (Monday) is against Mumbai Indians at Wankhedevar, while on Wednesday, KKR will face Delhi Capitals.
