Israel Hamas War: UN Security Council approves resolution demanding stop Gaza war
Pudhari Online Desk: During the Israel-Hamas war, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has approved a resolution demanding a halt to the war for humanitarian aid in Gaza. According to media reports, during the special session on Wednesday, 12 countries supported the resolution, while America, Russia and Britain abstained from voting.
The new resolution calls for adherence to international humanitarian law for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip. Apart from this, there has been a demand for special protection for small children. Only, there has been no call to stop the attacks on Malta, Mandalay or the proposed Kothehi Israel. At the same time, China and Russia have become immediate prisoners of war.
ASEAN calls to stop war
ASEAN conservation ministers, part of the South-East Asian Nations Association, called for an immediate end to Israel’s attacks on Gaza at a ministerial meeting on Wednesday. ASEAN conservation ministers have called for the creation of safe corridors for humanitarian aid.
Israel takes control of Gaza’s biggest hospital
Israeli forces on Wednesday captured Gaza’s largest hospital, al-Shifa hospital. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that a large amount of weapons had been found in the basement of the hospital.
