Israeli army enters Lebanon, attacks on Hezbollah targets continue
Israel Lebanon War: The Israeli army has started attacks on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Israeli army said that it has launched a limited ground operation, which is a new front against the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah. The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) said that it is targeting Hezbollah positions near its border, with air force and artillery units supporting the ground forces. However, he did not say how long this operation would last, but did say that its preparation and training had been going on for the last few months.
According to the IDF statement, the targets being targeted are located in villages along the Israeli border and pose an immediate threat to people living in northern Israel. The attack began after receiving political approval and is being called an advanced level war against Hezbollah. Earlier, US officials had informed that Israel has launched a limited ground campaign against Hezbollah. US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that Israel has informed America that this operation is being conducted to destroy Hezbollah’s resources on the border.

The sounds of air strikes have been heard in the Lebanese capital Beirut and southern suburbs after Israel ordered the evacuation of three buildings. Clouds of smoke are rising there, and Hezbollah is believed to have a strong hold in these areas. However, till now there has been no news of direct ground encounter between Israeli army and Hezbollah terrorists. Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, Israel and Hezbollah have retaliated against each other, due to which a large number of people have been displaced in both countries.
Israel has said that it will continue attacks on Hezbollah until the Lebanon border area becomes safe for families. At the same time, Hezbollah has also vowed to continue rocket attacks. Hezbollah said on Monday that even though its top leaders, such as Hassan Nasrallah, Ali Karaki and senior IRGC commander Abbas Nilforushan, had been killed, it would not back down from the fight. Hezbollah’s acting leader Naim Qasim said that if Israel decides to launch a ground attack, resistance forces are also ready. Qasim said that he is confident that Israel will not succeed in its goals and only Hezbollah will win this battle. Also, he promised to continue supporting Gaza.
