The World Cup Finals is a shoot-out between the top 15 international shooters and is conducted across the 12 Olympic events in rifle, pistol and shotgun categories. The competition will be organized at Lusail Shooting Range. After pre-competition training under the guidance of coach Samaresh Jung, Sarabjot said, “This is an important international competition which is being held after four years where the best shooters of the year compete head-to-head. So naturally I want to perform well in the tournament. ,

Sarabjot will face tough challenge from world number one shooter and Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Damir Mikec of Serbia, defending world champion Bowen Zheng of China, experienced Ismail Kelce of Turkey and five-time Olympian Juraj Tuzinski of Slovakia. In women’s air pistol, Isha and Divya will face challenge from shooters like world number one shooter and Rio Olympic champion Anna Korakaki of Greece, Tokyo Olympics gold medalist and defending world champion Jiang Renxin of China and veteran Zorona Arunovic of Serbia. Shotgun shooters Prithviraj Tondaiman and Ganimat Shekhon will compete in the qualification round in men’s and women’s trap respectively on Wednesday. 179 shooters from 12 countries are participating in the tournament.
