Renowned producer-director of Hindi cinema Karan Johar is celebrating his 51st birthday today. With his 51st birthday, Karan Johar has completed 25 years in the film industry. On this special day, Karan Johar shared with the audience the first glimpse of his next film Rocky and Rani’s love story.

Karan Johar’s silver jubilee celebrations have turned grand after the makers of his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani released the first-look poster. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in the lead, this family entertainer is sure to bring back the old multi-starrer vibe that fans witnessed during Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The first look shows Ranveer and Alia in an electrifying avatar as they dazzle the screen in their flamboyant roles. Apart from Ranveer and Alia, the film also stars industry heavyweights including Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in important roles.

It got fans wondering what’s next.

The cat was finally out of the bag on May 24. Karan completed 25 years as a filmmaker and posted a video with memories of all the films he has directed. It includes footage of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh and others from various firms. KJo also shared unseen glimpses from his upcoming directorial venture, Rocky and Rani’s love story.

Sharing glimpses of it, he wrote, “Nothing but gratitude for the magical 25 years I have spent in the director’s chair. I learned I grew, I cried, I laughed – I lived. And tomorrow, there will be another piece of my heart for you to see and I couldn’t be happier as I celebrate my birthday with all of you. With a story that has love written all over it. see you tomorrow! #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani first look tomorrow! In cinemas July 28 (sic).” Rocky and Rani’s love story is slated to hit the theaters on July 28, 2023.
