Mumbai:The trailer of Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming Netflix spy thriller ‘Khufiya’ was released on Monday. The director said it gave him the opportunity to reunite with Tabu and work with two talented actors Ali Fazal and Vamika Gabbi for the first time. Bhardwaj said, ‘I have always been very fascinated by the world of espionage and have always been fascinated with intelligence. Really excited to explore this genre. This film gave me the opportunity to reunite with Tabu, and to work for the first time with two very talented actors, Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi. This is my first collaboration with Netflix, which has been both exciting and rewarding.
This film is going to be released on 5th October. It also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and Ajmeri Haque Badhon. ‘Khufiya’ is based on true events and is based on the book Escape to Nowhere written by Amar Bhushan, former head of RAW’s Counter Espionage Unit.
