KP Sharma Oli On India : Nepal News In Hindi KP Sharma Oli Slams Nepal PM Prachanda India Visit Called A Failed Visit

Kathmandu : The Prime Minister of Nepal had recently come on a four-day official visit to India, which has created a stir in the politics of Nepal. Nepal’s main opposition party CPN-UML president and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that protocols were not included in the visit of Nepali PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to India. Nepal’s opposition is fiercely criticizing Prachanda’s visit to India and calling it a ‘failed tour’. Earlier, Pradeep Gyawali of Oli’s own party had said that Nepal did not benefit from Prachanda’s visit. Gyawali has also been the Foreign Minister of Nepal in the Oli government.

Speaking in Nepal’s House of Representatives (Parliament) on Monday, Oli said, “There were several protocol lapses during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to India.” He has also objected to Prachanda’s proposal regarding Kalapani dispute and trade route to Bangladesh. Oli said that there were no ‘historic achievements’ of Prachanda’s visit. He described the Nepali PM’s visit to India as ‘disorganized and unsuccessful’.

Prachanda proved to be a flop by going to India … Nepal’s opposition angry with the Prime Minister’s visit, Oli’s foreign minister counted the shortcomings

Oli taunted Prachanda’s visit

Oli sarcastically said, ‘Prachanda’s only achievement, if I can say so, is the decision of the Government of India to give 12 buffaloes.’ At the same time, the Nepali PM defended his visit, saying that he had a frank discussion with the Indian side on the resolution of the border issue. “I think this is the first time that a Nepalese prime minister has raised this issue with the Indian side so seriously,” Prachanda said in Parliament.

‘Both countries committed to resolve border issue’

He said, ‘I emphasized that Nepal-India relations cannot reach new heights without resolving the border issue.’ According to the Nepalese Prime Minister, both India and Nepal are determined to resolve the border issue and it is a matter of utmost importance for both the countries. Even Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his commitment to resolve the border issue.
