Lessons from Pakistan’s plight

India has The readiness with which assistance was provided to Turkey at the time of severe earthquake-related crisis was praised at the global level, but Pakistan did not appreciate it. While India once again presented a powerful example of human compassion, our neighbor again displayed the same jealousy and hatred. Pakistan calls itself an Islamic country, but does not hesitate to block emergency aid going to other Islamic countries. This country standing on the verge of being declared bankrupt these days is asking for help all over the world, but is not making any change in the policy of giving thousands of wounds to India. After being ousted from power, the opposition today wants Pakistan to be considered as a family. He may say or not, but India should help there. Although the people of the country are not ready for this. Should India forget who carried out the Mumbai attacks on 26 November 2008? His criminals are still roaming freely in Pakistan. Pakistan, which has almost wiped out its minorities, expresses its concern for the Muslims of India at the international level and continues to be a laughing stock. The best policy guidelines to help any country is contained in the Yaksha-Yudhishthira dialogue. Yudhishthira tells Yaksha that charity should be given only to the deserving. Obviously, for India, Pakistan no longer comes in the category of a good character.

It would be acceptable in any unbiased study that the roots of democracy in India have penetrated deep. Today the whole world is aware of the present pathetic condition of Pakistan which was created in the year 1947 by imposing the tragedy of partition on the immature insistence of creating a safe country for the Muslims of India. In fact, the Islamic rulers of Pakistan could never be free from ill-will towards other followers. They became so blind in competing with India that fulfilling the interests of the people of their country was not their priority. Not only this, the lessons of hatred especially towards Hindus are being taught officially from the elementary education. The intensity with which Pakistan has prepared its youth to treat all other sects as inferior to Islam has not only made it the most unsafe country in the world, it has spread an empire of violence in Pakistan itself. The manner in which the number of minorities decreased in Pakistan is a very sad chapter of human rights abuses. Degradation of morality and human sensitivity makes not only the individual but also the nation hollow from inside.

In such an environment, those who indulge in corrupt practices get a free hand. There was strong participation of all communities and regions in the freedom struggle of undivided India. Who can forget patriots like Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan who were ‘handed over to the wolves’ by Partition. The values propounded by Gandhiji had an impact on everyone rising above religion and creed. For two-three decades after independence, such people were present in the power and outside the country, who had sacrificed everything for the country. He had an influence on the youth. Those who wanted to give up these values in the glare of power after reaching power, they also had some shame left in their eyes. This situation only helped democracy to flourish in India. Pakistan, on the other hand, was deprived of this because its leadership was gripped by personal greed from the very beginning. There, instead of morality, bigotry was promoted, the results of which are in front of everyone.

It is also necessary to keep giving fertilizers and water to the roots of democracy. The policy changes that have taken place in India in the last decade have had positive effects on the economic, social and cultural aspects. The anguish of those who are not in power but have been in the past is understandable, but the complete loss of their ability to see positive change is a matter of concern for the progress of democracy. Many instances like scuffle between councilors in Municipal Corporation of Delhi are not only shameful but they need to be condemned by the general public.

The complete absence of any kind of discrimination in the welfare schemes run by the present central government is bringing an increased positive outlook among the minorities of India. This change will play a major role in giving a new direction to the development of the country, but every alert and alert citizen of the country has to keep in mind that those divisive elements who kept misleading people for five-six decades on the basis of vote bank, caste and regionalism, reactivated today. He has full faith in those who divide the society like George Soros. It is necessary to be aware of those who continuously attack the new approach which is flourishing in the country regarding social harmony and religious harmony. The main reasons for Pakistan reaching the pit of misery today are the absence of future vision, selfishness and greed in its leadership. Its main basis is anti-India and their extreme hatred towards Hindus and Indian culture. India and every Indian needs to remember this fact.
