Squeeze out all the water from the grated bottle gourd and keep it in a separate vessel. Mix gram flour, semolina, flour, ginger green chilli paste, turmeric, lemon juice, sugar, baking soda, oil and salt in it and knead a soft dough with the help of lukewarm water. Now grease both your palms with some oil and make fists of the dough. Steam the prepared Muthia for 20-25 minutes. For cooking idli stand or any utensil filled with water, you can also cook them by placing muthias in a sieve over it. After cooking well, take out the fists in a plate and cool them. Then cut them into small pieces of 1/2 inch. Now put oil in a pan and heat it. Put mustard, asafoetida, cumin and sesame seeds in it and let it crackle on low flame. Then put the chopped muthia pieces in it and fry for 4-5 minutes till it becomes light golden. Now turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander leaves and eat and feed hot.

Material

Bottle Gourd (Grated): 2 cups Wheat Flour: 1/2 cup Semolina: 2 tbsp Gram Flour: 2 tbsp Green Chilli Paste: 1 tsp Ginger Paste: 1 tsp Turmeric: 1/4 tsp -Spoon oil: 2 tbsp salt as per taste.
