Jaipur: Many film personalities including famous actress and MP Hema Malini will participate in the Jaipur Dev Festival organized from 24 to 26 September in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, on the 100th birth anniversary of famous film actor Dev Anand. Shri Anand by ‘The Evergreen Dev Anand Society’, Jaipur. A memorable and grand celebration will be organized for three days from 24th September to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary.
Giving this information, The Evergreen Dev Anand Society President Ravi Kamra said that the poster of the function was released on Saturday. Even today, the moments associated with the youth’s favorite fashion style icon Dev Anand will be remembered in the ceremony. He told that from 6 pm on 24th September, a musical evening full of songs “Gaata Rahe Mera Dil” dedicated to Dev Saheb will be held at Rajasthan International Centre, Jhalana Dungri, while on 25th September, a postal of film actors will be organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra through the Post and Telegraph Department. There will be a stamp exhibition.
On September 26 at 10 am, students from more than 10 colleges of Jaipur will participate in a musical quiz based on Dev Saheb at Jawahar Kala Kendra, which will be conducted by retired IAS Mahendra Surana. On the same day at 6 pm, famous film actress Hema Malini, writer and Padmashree Bhavana Somaiya, producer Amit Khanna will be present among the fans of Dev Saheb at the world famous cinema house Raj Mandir, while Jaipur’s music icon Padma Bhushan Grammi Award winner Pandit Vishwamohan. Live performance by Bhatt on Mohan Veena will be a special attraction. The program will be telecast live through City Live channel. On this occasion, Dev Anand’s films will also be screened in many theaters of Jaipur.
