New Delhi. Health care services major Max Healthcare Institute has acquired Nagpur-based Alexis Multi-Specialty Hospital Pvt Ltd for Rs 412 crore. Max Healthcare said in a statement on Friday that the 200-bed hospital is established on two acres of land in Mankapur, northern area of ​​Nagpur. The bed capacity of this hospital can be increased to 340 beds after necessary regulatory approvals.

Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director, Max Healthcare Institute, said, the acquisition of Alexis Hospital is in line with our vision to expand our presence in mid-sized cities (Tier-II). He said the acquisition of Alexis Hospital will strengthen the company’s presence in the Maharashtra region.
