Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going on an official visit to the US on June 22 at the invitation of President Joe Biden. Mukesh Aghi, president of the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF), has said that Modi’s visit is a message that the two countries are linked geopolitically, economically and technologically. Prime Minister Modi will pay his first state visit to the US in June at the invitation of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. The US President and Jill Biden will also host Modi for a state dinner on 22 June.
This is a message to the rest of the world that India’s growth story is real. India is a rising power. India will one day become a great power and the world will have to take India more seriously. He said, “I think this is a message that both countries are connected to each other through geopolitical, economic and technology and are moving in the same direction.” Aghi said, “We are seeing that India is the original is increasingly associating with democratic nations that are focused on the rule of law. On the other hand Russia, China, Iran and North Korea have their own bloc. This is a message that India’s time has come, he said. India will play an important role. And I think Prime Minister Modi has done a wonderful job of showcasing that.
