Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the dressing room to boost the morale of Team India, disappointed by the defeat. Every player was emotional after the defeat. During this, tears came out from fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Seeing Shami crying, the Prime Minister hugged him.

I would like to thank all the fans for supporting our team during the tournament. I am thankful to PM Narendra Modi. Especially he came to our dressing room and boosted our morale.
