Mohammed Shami became emotional in front of PM Modi in the dressing room, the Prime Minister hugged him

Ahmedabad (Uttam Hindu News) – As soon as Team India lost the Cricket World Cup final on Sunday, crores of Indians became disappointed. Team India players were in bad condition in the dressing room. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the dressing room to boost the morale of Team India, disappointed by the defeat. Every player was emotional after the defeat. During this, tears came out from fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Seeing Shami crying, the Prime Minister hugged him.
While sharing the picture of meeting PM Modi, Mohammed Shami also shared an emotional post. He wrote on X, ‘Unfortunately yesterday was not our day. I would like to thank all the fans for supporting our team during the tournament. I am thankful to PM Narendra Modi. Especially he came to our dressing room and boosted our morale. We will come back stronger.
