Music maestro AR Rahman joins team ‘Gandhi’: Hansal Mehta is directing, Applause Entertainment is producing – Dainik Savera Times
Mumbai: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Applause Entertainment, one of India’s leading content studios is excited to announce the collaboration of Grammy Award winning, music legend A.R. Rahman has come on board to compose the music for his much-awaited web series, Gandhi. Rahman, whose name is synonymous with musical talent, will take the series to new heights with his unique artistry in this sweeping saga of Indian independence.
Directed by Hansal Mehta and based on the definitive script by Ramachandra Guha, this collaboration promises to weave together history, emotion and sound in a way never experienced before on screen. His compositions will not only support the visuals but will also capture the essence of Gandhi’s teachings on truth, love and non-violence, becoming a powerful part of the narrative.
