Nawazuddin Siddiqui comments on The Kerala Story
Adah Sharma’s The Kerala Story, which tackles the issue of love jihad, religious conversion and religious conversion, has been receiving rave reviews from all quarters. While there are some who are showing their support for the film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared that if a film is ‘hurting someone, it is wrong’.
Responding to a tweet by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap apparently supporting the film, Nawazuddin told News18 that “if a novel or a film is hurting someone, it is wrong.” Kashyap tweeted earlier this month, “Whether you agree with the film or not, be it propaganda, counter-propaganda, objectionable or not, banning it is wrong.”

Nawaz clarified on his social media and requested people not to report any false news for fake propaganda.

Taking to his social media he clarified, “Please stop spreading false news just to get few views and hits, its called cheap TRP – I never said and I will never want to ban any movie. Stop banning movies. Stop spreading fake news!!”
