Chopra, who recently reached number one in the world rankings, had practiced there in 2022 as well.
Among other proposals, the Mission Olympic Cell also approved table tennis player Payas Jain’s practice in Taiwan. It also approved taking personal coaches of senior table tennis players Manika Batra and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran to various tournaments. The financial assistance will include air travel expenses, camp expenses, accommodation and medical insurance expenses and out of pocket allowance.
